Throughout 2016, Hot Topics will be uncovering and celebrating the most influential B2B marketers in tech globally.
The first part of the series focused on the European region and started with the publishing of a list highlighting the 100 leading B2B tech marketers in the region.
We have been profiling the individuals on that list over the course of the last month, understanding the key challenges facing B2B tech marketers today and where they see opportunities for development.
The topics which have been raised most frequently include; the use of content as a form of differentiation and influence, the shift towards account based marketing, the spread of tech buying power across C-level and the use of tech within the marketing function.
The resulting videos and thought leadership pieces will be published on Hot Topics over the course of the next few months.
In the meantime, we have turned our attention to North America, and again asked our community of senior business leaders to nominate the North American B2B tech marketers that they believe have:
- been trailblazers in the use of new technologies to drive innovation within the marketing function
- contributed to significant business growth during their tenure
- shown exceptional leadership capabilities
The number of nominations has been overwhelming, both from members of the European list highlighting their peers in North America and indeed, the wider Hot Topics community.
As with the European list, the 100 leaders chosen spans the marketing chiefs within large enterprises, alongside their counterparts in high growth, VC backed businesses.
The published list will again be followed by a series of contributions from the leaders within it, creating the most comprehensive collection of thought leadership from the individuals changing the face of B2B tech marketing.
