Advice for aspiring CIOs

David Ivell

What advice do you wish you had when you were starting out?

David Ivell, CIO of The Prince’s Trust, a non-profit which has set itself the rather lofty goal of engaging millions of young people digitally to help them find their way into work, believes that the key to success in the CIO role comes from the core tenets of integrity, creativity, and commitment. The Prince’s Trust is a charity in the U.K founded in 1976 by Charles, Prince of Wales and Frederick John Pervin with the sole aim of improving young people’s lives.

David shared his best advice for budding CIOs in a conversation as part of our ‘Making Digital Work’ series, brought to you in partnership with Computacenter.
