Jim has nearly 20 years of IT experience, including 13 years with several diverse GE businesses.
He joined GE in 2000 as Manager of UNIX technology with the Aviation business. He also held roles as an IT Six Sigma Black Belt and Manager of Human Resource Systems for GE Corporate. In 2005, he was named Chief Technology Officer for Architecture and Technology for GE Infrastructure.
In this role, he was responsible for defining and implementing the technology standards for four large GE businesses. In 2009, he was promoted to CIO for GE Aviation’s Supply Chain organization. He was responsible for managing all IT systems used in Aviation’s manufacturing, assembly and repair plants around the world. He also served as CIO for GE Intelligent Platforms, where he led a global team responsible for driving process excellence and LEAN initiatives, as well as process digitization efforts within the business. He joined Power Generation Services in 2012 in his current role. Prior to GE, he held IT roles with NCR and Accenture.
